Hydration is Key

Summer is coming in hot, and that means it's especially important to stay hydrated. Thankfully, Baytown has plenty of thirst-quenching options for any occasion. Check out some of our favorite places to get 'hydrated':

J & H Coffee House

J & H Coffee House / Sno-Cone Express (660 W Texas Ave STE B) has treats for the whole family! Warn your children before you go, if they get sno-cones, there will be a massive parent tax. Visit the J & H Coffee House Facebook page to prepare your taste-buds.

Yepez Vineyard

Date? Ladies’ night? “Team-building” work event? Sophisticated Saturday with the boys? Whatever the occasion, Yepez Vineyard (12739 FM-2354) is the right place. Enjoy fresh air, great wine, and good company here. Visit the Yepez Vineyard website for more information or the Yepez Vineyard Facebook page to see what events are coming up.

El Toro

Coming from someone who knows, the margaritas at El Toro are among the best in the greater-Houston area. Whether you’re looking for a classic lime marg on the rocks with a salted rim or something new and seasonal, El Toro always hits the spot. Not to mention, the Garth Road location (5810 Garth Rd) has a beautiful, shaded patio that’s amazing in the summer. Visit the El Toro website or check out the El Toro Facebook page to see what's new.

Top Tea

Top Tea (5623 Garth Rd) is my favorite boba tea place ever. The service is great, the boba has the perfect consistency, and the tea flavors are delicious. Off-topic, but while you’re there, do yourself a favor and order the popcorn chicken. Visit the TopTea Facebook page for more info.

Baytown Nutrition

Baytown Nutrition (123 W Defee STE 11) has tons of tasty treats and healthy options to drink! The atmosphere is great and the hospitality is even better. Visit the Baytown Nutrition Facebook page to see what new treats you can get this summer.

O'Neals

O’Neals (2651 TX-146BUS) is the perfect place to wind down with a beer. Their patio is great with a view facing the iconic Hartman Bridge. Not to mention, their shrimp po' boys and steak nights are amazing! Check out the full menu at the O'neals website or visit the O'neals Facebook page for info about live music and events.

Sabor of Mexico

Sabor of Mexico (208 W Texas Ave) has the best aguas frescas! Stop in for a refreshing treat to enjoy in-house or across the street at the Baytown Town Square. Visit the Sabor of Mexico Facebook page to see what special treats you can enjoy here this summer.

Gracie's Cocina

Gracie’s Cocina (3406 N Main St #120) is the place to go if you’re looking for something healthy and tasty to sip on! This café has a variety juices and smoothies made fresh. Visit the Gracie's Cocina Facebook page to learn more.

La Sierra Tailgate

If micheladas are your thing, you HAVE to go to La Sierra Tailgate (2400 Market St). It's a small hole-in-the-wall eatery with BIG flavors. Visit the La Sierra Tailgate Facebook page for more info and mouthwatering pics.

The Dirty Daiquiri

The Dirty Daiquiri (2007 N Main St) is one of the most fun places to get hydrated in Baytown! With a large patio and oversized games like Connect 4 and Jenga, this is the perfect summer hangout. Check out the Dirty Daiquiri Facebook page to learn more!
