Visit Baytown
Disc Golf Challenge

Discover why Baytown is becoming a favorite destination for disc golfers by taking the Visit Baytown Disc Golf Challenge. Players are challenged to complete rounds at Baytown's scenic disc golf courses while exploring some of the area's most beautiful parks and natural landscapes. Whether you're a first-time player or a seasoned competitor, the challenge offers a fun way to experience Baytown's growing disc golf scene.

The challenge is designed to introduce new players to the sport, encourage experienced golfers to test their skills on multiple courses, and showcase Baytown as a premier disc golf destination on the Texas Gulf Coast.

Complete the challenge by playing each featured Baytown course and checking in at designated locations. Along the way, you'll discover unique course layouts, wooded fairways, and open throws that make every round a different experience.

All finishers will receive an exclusive Visit Baytown Disc Golf Challenge Coin and a commemorative keepsake for completing the challenge. Participants can also complete bonus challenges to earn additional Visit Baytown swag.

Challenge Overview

  1. Submission Options 

    • Print the Visit Baytown Disc Golf Challenge entry form and email your completed PDF along with supporting photos or screenshots to tourism@baytown.org.

    • For UDisc users, you may submit your UDisc scorecards for each Baytown course instead of manually recording your rounds. Email your submission totourism@baytown.org and include:

      • Your Name

      • Mailing Address

      • Whether you completed the bonus challenges

      • Supporting photos or screenshots

      • UDisc scorecards (or share your UDisc round links)

      • Hotel name and confirmation number (if completing the Stay & Play Bonus)

  2. Complete the Challenge

    • Play a round at each of Baytown's three disc golf courses and record your completion on the entry form or through UDisc.

  3. Receive Your Prize

    • All Challenge finishers will receive an exclusive Visit Baytown Disc Golf Medallion. Participants who complete bonus challenges and submit the required documentation will also receive exclusive Visit Baytown swag while supplies last.

Additional Information

  1. The Disc Golf Challenge is open to all ages and all countries.

  2. Only one entry will be accepted per individual. 

  3. Most importantly, check course availability and conditions before playing, follow all posted course rules and park guidelines, respect the parks, other players, and surrounding environment, practice proper disc golf etiquette by allowing faster groups to play through and maintaining a positive experience for everyone, and capture photos along the way to share your Baytown disc golf adventure.

  4. ​Challenge Tips: Bring plenty of water, especially during warmer months; wear comfortable shoes suitable for walking on varied terrain; bring extra discs to prepare for challenging shots; use UDisc to track your rounds and share your progress; and take time to explore each park while enjoying the outdoor experience.

Baytown Disc Golf Festival

The Baytown Disc Golf Festival, presented by Lyte Fiber, is October 17–18, 2026 this will be an exciting weekend of competition at Jenkins Park and Tabbs Bay Disc Golf Course. This PDGA B-Tier event features three rounds of play, $1,000 in added pro cash, $3,500 in added merchandise, a guaranteed $1,500 ace pot, and $50 cash closest-to-the-pin prizes on every hole during Saturday's rounds. Players can also enjoy a lively tournament party at the Hyatt with food, drinks, live music, and the popular B3 Putter Course, making it a weekend that combines top-tier disc golf with a fun festival atmosphere.
