Independence Day Celebration
Wednesday, July 3 - Thursday, July 4
Baytown makes Independence Day plural with festivities taking place at Bicentennial Park (1001 Market St.) on both July 3 and 4.
It is a true Baytown tradition to say “Happy Birthday America” with a FREE festival so large that they need two fun-filled days to pack in all of the patriotic merriment.
This year, Baytown’s festival kicks off with a BANG on Wednesday, July 3rd at Bicentennial Park with day 1 headliner The Village People and Bag of Donuts.
Day 2’s celebration of freedom on July 4th, will welcome country music singers Tracy Byrd and Joe Diffie and opening the day with music from R.L. Bell.
Don't be fooled, the rockin’ red, white and blue concerts aren’t the only things on the agenda for this festival. Come prepared to say you “had a blast” shopping row after row of vendor booths, feasting from a large assortment of food trucks, enjoying the patriotic parade on the 4th, and letting the kiddos have a “bang up good time” in the festival’s kid play zone!
The festival will come to an explosive conclusion with one of the best fireworks extravaganza’s in the state! A special guest DJ will play patriotic tune after tune as the fireworks burst and shimmer over the park in an impressive show of lights.
