Arts & Eats Fest

March 23rd 4pm-9pm

Town Square, 213 W. Texas Avenue, Baytown

The Arts & Eats Fest is the perfect marriage of food trucks, art, and music!  Food Trucks will line the Baytown Town Square while the Mambo Jazz Kings take the stage for a day of dancing and singing familiar pop/rock tunes.  In the middle of the Town Square, chalk artists take their places around the large fountain to create art pieces that will win the hearts of spectators and hopefully the contest’s first prize award.  Finally, new for 2019, there will be a fire truck pull hosted by Baytown’s Special Olympics group.  The festival is free to attend and proceeds from the chalk art contest and fire truck pull will benefit the Art Gallery of Baytown’s Rising Stars—a special needs art program.

Nurture Nature Fest

April 13, 10am-4pm

Baytown Nature Center

6213 Bayway Dr., Baytown, TX

Baytown’s annual Nurture Nature Festival is full of nature fun for the whole family.  The Festival will include kayaking, fishing, inflatables, food trucks and more. Visitors can see large birds of prey, a variety of snakes and even baby gators at the hourly live animal shows and touch tanks.  Visit booths hosted by Texas Parks & Wildlife or learn to kayak in the bay shared by the San Jacinto Monument.  The best part is that this festival is FREE!  Parking inside the BNC is $10, but free parking and shuttles will be available in designated areas outside the BNC.
