Nurture Nature Series, Baytown Nature Center
Nov. 3, Dec. 1, Jan. 5, Feb. 2, 10am-12pm
The Baytown Nature Center offeres family-friendly workshops covers basic nature skills and outdoor activities. Topics for this winter will include Nature Photography (November), Birding (December), Bio Blitz (January), and Wilderness Survival (February). The Nurture Nature Series happens the first Saturday of each month and is included with the BNC admission fee. For more information, click here.
Full Moon Hike, Baytown Nature Center, November 24, December 22, January 19, & February 16
Want to see nocturnal animals in their natural habitats? Check out the next Full Moon Hike at the Baytown Nature Center! The hike is free with paid admission into the Baytown Nature Center. The hike is approximately 90 minutes. Bug Spray and comfortable shoes are encouraged. The hikes may be unsuitable for very small children, as silence is necessary to see animals.

Ice Skating at the Town Square, Texas Avenue

Visit our outdoor ice skating rink at the Town Square for a magical time skating around the 40 foot Christmas Tree! The ice rink is open 7 days a week from 6pm-10pm (weather permitting) and skate rentals are available. For more information, click here.

Christmas Community Art Show, Baytown Community Center
December 7, 4pm - 9pm
This free, family event showcases local artists of all ages and a variety of mediums. Put on annually by the Baytown Parks and Recreation Department, this event boasts enough art to fill the entire Community Center and has become a holiday staple. For more information, click here.
Christmas Movie Night, Town Square, December 7
Enjoy a night of Christmas movies at Town Square. Movies include "The Star" at 6pm, "Ice Age: A Mommoth Christmas" at 7:30pm, and "Home Alone" at 8pm. This event is free and family friendly and the ice rink will be open for skaters. For information, click here.
Baytown Symphony Orchestra Christmas Concert, Lee College Performing Arts Center, December 8 - 9
Each year the Baytown Symphony Orchestra brings Baytown the amazing sounds of the holidays during their annual Christmas concert. Christmas Past and Present, Republic of Texas Plaza

The annual Christmas Past and Present event hosted by the Baytown Historical Preservation Association brings the historical Christmas celebration to life. Stroll up the plaza pathways lit by candlelight and tour historic structures dressed in period decorations. For more information, click here.

Audubon Bird Count, Town Square (Texas Avenue)

Join the Houston Audubon on the third Thursday of every month as they partner with the Baytown Nature Center in a monthly count of the birds at the Nature Center. With over 300 species using this area for feeding, nesting, and migrating, you are sure to see a large variety of birds! Entry fee is waived for counting participants. For more info, Click Here.
The Culture of Tea Exhibit, Art Center of Baytown

The Art League is very honored to be hosting this year's juried International Texas Teapot Tournament sponsored by CAMEO-Clay Arts Museum and Education Organization.
